Trend has brought together media in Romania METRO

The year 2006 just ended was for Metro Cash & Carry Romania one year anniversary: ​​10 years of activity on the retail market in our country. To record this event, METRO's PR department wanted to update their relationships with customers, a reaffirmation of values ​​and specific activity METRO via the media throughout the country.

In this regard, with the support of Trend Communication PR department they were initiated and organized a series of "business lunches" in the 16 cities where Metro has shops. Trend Communications has been responsible both for organizing the logistics of the meeting and by identifying and meeting the same table of the most important journalists of the visited cities: chief editors, editors of pages of economic newspapers, reporters specialized in retail or in general. Media journalists present at the 16 meetings - which were held from June to November 2006 - was 20 people.

On articles published after the event, generally positive reactions of the environment from the retail segment leader initiative in Romania, we can say that the entire process of communication - information provided, training events - was a success.
